Skills: IT Support Engineer / Desktop Support – London, (nearest tube station – Blackfriars) my client is looking for a Desktop Support, 1st / 2nd Line IT Support Engineer for an 1 Year Fixed Term contract. Role is a mixture of telephone IT support & hands on IT support – you will be responsible for day to day support of all IT 1st & 2nd Line support issues, including desktop & network support to both local & remote users, trouble shooting network related issues, support & maintain user account information, install, manage & support Windows XP/Visa operating systems, cross-platform email support (Outlook, Blackberry, iPhone, Blackberry etc). You must have skills in Windows 2000/XP, MS Office 2003, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Anti Virus, laptop/hardware upgrades, with excellent communication & interpersonal skills, experience in a similar 1st & 2nd line role is essential.
