Skills: Desktop Support Engineer, 2nd Line IT Support Engineer, Active Directory, Exchange. Based in London (nearest tube – Great Portland Street) my client has a new requirement for an 2nd Line Desktop person for an 4 months contract. This is a technical hands on role – You must have recent 2nd Line desktop support experience (client would consider candidates with a mixture of 1st & 2nd line within a hands on desktop role) with technical skills in Windows 2000/XP/2003, Active Directory, Exchange, good knowledge of Hardware (PC’s, Laptops & Printers) & MS Software, problem solving & fault analysis skills, basic understanding of networking environment (TCP/IP), excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for providing day2day hands on support of Desktops & systems, monitor & maintain desktop files & application services, provide system support to desktop office & application services, etc. My client are only interested in taking on contractors through an Limited company so please only send in your CV if you are from an Limited company or wish to set up as an limited company.
