Skills: Helpdesk, 1st Line Service Desk, ITIL, Active Directory, Exchange. My client based in London (nearest tube station – Great Portland Street) is looking for a Helpdesk / 1st Line IT Support person. This role would suit someone who is available now or at very short notice. You must come from a Helpdesk / Service desk / 1st line / 2nd line Desktop Support role with some experience working in an ITIL environment (ITIL Foundation desirable) with technical (supporting & troubleshooting) experience of Windows Server 2003 including Active Directory, Exchange, MS Office 2003/2007, Outlook, installation of Windows XP/Vista, Hardware setups, with excellent customer services /communications skills – verbal & written. Role is a mixture of technical telephone and hands on support, you will act as first point of contact & communication channel between users & IT services, handle, monitor progress to resolution of incidents, problems & queries. Desirable skills include remote technical support, any 2nd line experience, MAC, network components – hubs, switches, firewalls.  If you meet all the criteria I will get back to you ASAP !
