My prestigious client to work for based in London (nearest tube Chancery Lane) has a new requirement for an Desktop Engineer / 1st and 2nd Line IT Support Engineer. Role involves a mixture hands on & over the phone IT Support– this includes user support, troubleshooting & maintenance including Desktops, logging calls, Systems admin, Servers, installations of hardware & software, etc. You must have hands on Helpdesk or Desktop support experience – technical skills in Desktop / Systems applications – MS Office & emails, Windows 2000/XP/Vista, Active Directory, Installation & troubleshooting skills, Hardware, MS Office, Backups, PC builds, with a outgoing personality, excellent communication skills both oral & written, with a willingness to learn new skills. Any MCP’s/MCSE’s would be a bonus. Truly an excellent company to work for, with training & progression – some shift & weekend work is involved in the role due to the nature of the business.
