Skills: 1st Line IT Support, Helpdesk, Service Desk. My client based Surrey are looking for a 1st Line IT Support, Helpdesk, Service Desk person. You must have an excellent telephone manner with emphasis on excellent customer service with 2 years plus experience in an 1st Line technical environment, Windows 2000/XP onwards, MS Office, with good IT general knowledge and a full driving licence with your own car. This is a role that would suit an experienced 1st line, who wishes to build upon their experience and expand their skills and knowledge to soon take their role to the next level as a 2nd Line Engineer. Initiative and self-motivation are key! The candidate must demonstrate confidence and the ability to transfer their confidence to the customer. Successful candidates who shine in this role will have a career path ahead of them. Role involves calling logging, initial trouble shooting, password resets, daily checks, printer setups, remote PC control. Working hours are 08.00 to 17.30 Monday to Friday. This is an excellent role offering training and real progression through the company.
