Skills: Data Quality Manager. Strong data quality tools experience required. Experience of interacting with end users of their output both before developing scorecards/output and afterwards. Also experience of parsing data and matching techniques, etc. The role is to lead data quality measurement activities, including scorecards and complex rule sets, to support Data Governance across the company; to utilise experience in the use of data quality software to ensure the exploitation is optimised, and to provide subject matter expertise to coach and develop understanding both within Data Governance and those who need to engage (ie Data Trustees, Information Excellence, ABC); to support the embedding of Data Governance within Arqiva, assisting and working closely with the Head of Data Governance, driving more sophisticated approaches and thus achieving the highest standards of data quality to benefit the business in exploiting its data. Ideally you will be familiar with some of the following:- A strong background in data quality and have proven capabilities in leading assignments to deliver clear business benefits from investing time and resources in data management projects.  Delivery of data quality scorecards and projects utilising Oracle EDQ or similar tools (Trillium, Informatica Data Quality, Dataflux, etc) within a data management team, and familiarity with data management principles. Experience in Scripting SQL queries, familiarity with relational databases and detailed knowledge of MS Access and standard reporting tools. A good communicator and influencer to ensure that your contribution is highly effective. You will, therefore, be able to demonstrate how you have gained commitment from senior management in your current role to support initiatives where you have been responsible for delivering benefits. In addition, it would be advantageous to have previous experience in either managing or supporting others within a team, along with any experience of providing training or coaching to others on the use of the toolsets. Oracle EDQ is used by others within the Data Governance team and this role will provide expertise and ongoing support and coaching to these individuals.
