Skills: Application Support, Windows 2003/8, Linux, Solaris, Excel. You must have skills in customer facing application/software environment, extensive experience in software/product support, very customer focused, excellent technical and problem solving skills, educated to a degree level in mathematics or computer science 2(i) or above from a UK University. You will be involved with problem analysis and resolution, installations, upgrades, training, pre‐ and post‐sales support and meetings. You will also be required to write and run tests, and to produce test, support and training documentation. The role will require travel to client sites; many of which will involve travel outside of the UK. You will provide out‐of‐hours support as part of a rota system. Any Real-Time back end infrastructure, Market Data environment, Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters, testing, writing and running tests experience is desirable.
