Skills: 1st Line IT Support, Helpdesk, 1st Line Desktop Support. Based in Abingdon, my client has a new requirement for an 1st Line IT Support / Helpdesk / 1st Line Desktop Support person. You must have some IT Support experience, skills in Windows XP/2000, Outlook/Exchange, MS Office, PC experience, good problem solving skills, clear & concise telephone manner, attention to detail, good organization skills and a full driving licence with your own car. Any VMS or coding/scripting would be in bonus ! Role involves day2day IT Support desktop and helpdesk, Operation issues, IT problems, request and enquires of IT Users mainly on the telephone (call logging) – role is on an 8 hour shift basis supporting between the hours of 06.00 & 22.00.
