My client based in London (nearest tube station – Great Portland Street) are looking for a Helpdesk / 1st Line IT Support person for an 12 Months Fixed Term contract with possible permanent role after (You will be on my clients payroll). This role would suit someone who is available now or at very short notice. You must have a years experience in an Helpdesk / Service desk / 1st line role with technical skills in supporting & troubleshooting Windows Server 2003 including Active Directory, Exchange, MS Office 2003/2007, Outlook, installation of Windows XP/Vista, Hardware setups, with excellent customer services /communications skills – verbal & written. Role is a mixture of technical telephone and hands on support, you will act as first point of contact & communication channel between users & IT services, handle, monitor progress to resolution of incidents, problems & queries. This role offers great progression into a 2nd Line role., Desirable skills include remote technical support, ITIL, any 2nd line experience, MAC, network components – hubs, switches, firewalls. This role is on shift rota basis Monday to Friday 08.00 to 16.00, 9.00 to 17.00 and 12.00 to 20.00 with some Saturday and Sunday work.
