Based in London (nearest tube – Tottenham Court Road) my client has a new requirement for an 1st Line / 2nd Line Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support Engineer. My client offers a superb working culture, 9-5 office hours (no crazy late night working hours), with a relaxed environment, training courses and opportunities to develop. You must be enthusiastic and have excellent telephone manner/communication skills. This role is a split of 70% hands on/user facing and 30% over the phone technical support – You must have recent 1st and 2nd Line desktop support experience with technical skills in MS Desktop Software, Windows XP/7, Active Directory, MS Office 2003/2010, good knowledge of Hardware (PC’s, Laptops & Printers) & MS Software, problem solving & fault analysis skills, excellent telephone manner/communication skills. Any skills in Citrix or ITIL would be a bonus.
