ITIL v3 Expert Service Analyst. You must be ITIL v3 Expert – please only send in your CV if you have this. To ensure that the Smart M2M operation runs best practice, ITIL-aligned processes that deliver quality services to customers and align with existing operations. To contribute to the successful delivery of the Smart Metering services by ensuring that processes fulfil customer requirements, are fit-for-purpose and are delivered to contract milestones.. Duties include:

  • Support the transition of the Smart M2M Service Management services and operation by testing and handing over best practice, ITIL-aligned processes, procedures and work instructions
  • Work with service management counterparts at customers’ and suppliers’ organisations to test and handover an effective Service Management framework and associated interfaces
  • Analyse requirements for the appropriate processes and ensure that they are delivered on time and at the level of quality required by the customer
  • Produce use cases to comprehensively cover scenarios end to end, including customer and supplier interfaces
  • Write end-to-end test scripts that ensure systems and processes support the use cases
  • Perform testing necessary to ensure systems and processes deliver to requirements
  • Work with operational teams to understand current processes, promoting the Smart Metering propositions and influencing process owners towards best practice
  • Identify all stakeholders impacted by the process development and produce appropriate communications to ensure all parties are informed and prepared for change
  • Contribute to plans and training relating to the appropriate processes
  • Represent and promote Smart M2M Service Management as a leading service management authority and constructively challenge activity that does not support the Smart Service Management strategy
  • Contribute to the generation of customer requirements and associated work packages, providing review and sign off as appropriate
  • Develop project product descriptions and work package documents to assure the quality of outcomes
  • Provide data (e.g. scripts, assignment groups, categorisation, workflows) for systems development that supports operational and reporting requirements for each process
  • Produce templates, plans and reference documentation required by processes in operation
  • Plan and allocate work to 3rd party contractors relating to process documentation and integration
  • Assure the quality of work provided by 3rd party relating to processes and systems
