JavaScript Web Developer. My client based in Hemel Hempstead are looking for a JavaScript Web Developer. You will assist in the creation and onward development of a new web-based UI using AngularJS and modern JavaScript and browser technologies.

I am looking for someone with 3+ years’ experience of modern JavaScript development techniques, AngularJS and web technologies and a keen interest in expanding and developing your knowledge through working in a fast paced company.
Skills and experience:


  • Strong understanding of the JavaScript language, its quirks and workarounds
  • Strong understanding of HTML web markup and CSS
  • Experience in developing complex single page web applications using AngularJS
  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript development techniques such as modules, transpiling and bundling
  • Familiarity with front-end build tools such as Gulp (preferred) or Grunt
  • Familiarity with JavaScript unit testing frameworks and their application in AngularJS projects
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
  • Strong awareness of timelines and task priority
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate issues succinctly and without ambiguity using appropriate technical vocabulary
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience of working within an agile development team

Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Interfaces Development Manager to deliver the new AngularJS platform UI
  • Technical design and timely implementation of code changes and various system enhancements to platforms and websites according to technical specifications and the company’s design, coding and performance tuning standards
  • Learn relevant website technologies and techniques as per the specific position within the team
  • Visit the London office when required to support specific project implementations or to assist in requirements gathering and business analysis activities
  • Work closely with the Testing team to resolve issues that arise during the testing of developed software
  • Work with the Support team to resolve problems with the platforms and websites

Working hour are 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday from 8.30am – 5.30pm. This role is commutable from Watford, Luton, St Albans, Aylesbury, Milton Keynes & parts of North London. Please send your CV ASAP for more information.
