Skills: 1st Line IT Support / Helpdesk. Based in London (nearest tube – Tottenham Court Road) my prestigious client has a new requirement for an 1st Line IT Support Helpdesk for an 12 months Fixed Term contract (You will be on my clients payroll paying £20k pro-rata –please do not send in your CV if you are looking for a daily or hourly rate, this role would suit someone who is available now or at short notice). My client offers a superb working culture and relaxed environment. You must be enthusiastic and have excellent telephone manner/communication skills, have recent IT Helpdesk /1st Line experience of call logging, Windows XP/7, MS Office 2003/2010. You will be responsible for providing 1st Line IT support, logging tickets, escalating queries when necessary, liaising with users keeping all parties informed of ticket progression via phone and email, ensure all backup tapes are properly stored, raise PO for IT hardware and software.
