Skills: PHP Software Developer – Senior . Based in Central London my client an market leading FinTech company are recruiting for a PHP Software Developer – Senior.

 

You must have/be:

  • Object oriented coding with proper design patterns.
  • At least one MVC framework (my client currently use Zend, Symfony 3, Silex and are open to other framework experience)
  • Version control, preferably distributed (e.g. git)
  • Good working knowledge of the Linux CLI.
  • Able to write testable code.
  • Someone who likes the idea of working in a scrum team.
  • Self-motivated with good organisational skills.
  • Someone who enjoys working with your team and helping to develop upon and maintain code with them

Aside from building great software, my client uses several tools and methodologies to ensure that you empower the development teams. Every line of code goes through reviews and continuous integration tools to run tests, measure complexity, and make sure the code matches. My client have separate development servers, staging environments and live environments. My client don’t just use LAMP, they have message queues, caches, round robin databases, proxy servers, and anything else that helps build robust and elegant systems. They use scrum and have a project management team dedicated to higher level prioritising, requirements gathering, and helping write the stories

You must have:

  • AWS Lambda serverless development as well as familiar with other AWS services, unit testing and mocking APIs.

Skills C# ASP.Net Developer – Full Stack. My client based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, have a brand new requirement for a C# ASP.Net Developer – Full Stack with the option of working from home after training and travel to the office on ad-hoc basis only. You must have:

  • Solid experience of C# .NET and ASP.NET.
  • A great enthusiasm for creating quality software in particular creating systems which are elegant, extendable, and sustainable over the long term.
  • Experience of relational databases in particular Microsoft SQL Server.

The role is primarily a systems developer and is mainly concerned with providing a web based framework which allows other developers to create line-of-business applications. Skills: Security Engineer / IT Security Analyst. Based in Central London, my client an market leading FinTech company have a brand new role for an Security Engineer / IT Security Analyst.

 

You must have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a IT Security Engineer or Network Security or equivalent role.
  • Good understanding of Security best practices.
  • Knowledge of security concepts related to DNS, routing, authentication, VPN, proxy services and DDOS mitigation technologies.
  • Knowledge of Windows, UNIX and Linux operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Security Incident Handling processes and procedures.
  • Hands on experience on a range of technologies, including but not limited to Vulnerability Management, IDM/IAM (SSO/2FA), IPS, DLP, Encryption (IPSec/TLS/SSL), IDM/IAM, Email Security, AV, FIM, NG-Firewall/WAF, NAC, PKI, SIEM.

Any certification in GCIH/CEH/CISSP/SSCP, knowledge of Certifications/Frameworks such as PCI-DSS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001/27002 or exposure to PCI-DSS environments would be a bonus.

In this role, reporting to the IT Security Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring and supporting the implementation of security solutions/enforcing security best practice for the all the elements of the technology infrastructure in partnership with DevOps & System/Networking Engineering teams:

  • Cloud and on-prem infrastructure (server, network, firewalls, ips, siem, email, DLP)
  • Endpoints (desktop/laptop, mobile, BYOD)
  • Identity & Access Management (SSO, 2FA, Privileged Access, Remote Access)

This includes:

  • Collaborate with other members of the technical community to ensure successful implementation of security solutions.
  • Monitor security events, escalate and investigate issues while documenting all the activities.
  • Support of security technologies such as AV, Next-gen endpoint prevention technologies (sandboxing, white/black listing…), Data Loss Prevention, File Integrity Monitoring, Web Filtering, NAC.
  • Ensure security tools are optimized, fine-tuned and integrated into operational procedures.
  • Proactively assesses potential risks and opportunities of vulnerability in the network.
  • Collaborating on carrying out triage of security events and elevate their priority to incident when required following research and identification of key indicators of malicious activities on the network.
  • Participation in the IT Security Incident Escalation process which could include engaging with external third parties.
  • Monitor changing threat landscape to identify and address areas of concern.
