SAP BO Developer. My client in central London are looking for an SAP BO Developer (Web Intelligence Version 4.2) for an initial 3 months contract. You must have:

  • Experience of development in SAP BO Web Intelligence Version 4.2.
  • Experience of developing reports using Merged Dimensions on multiple universes.
  • Clear conception of production process.
  • Hands-on worker.
  • Can deal with large volume of reports.
  • Takes the initiative and able to progress work forward by themselves.
  • Can work independently with little supervision.

You will be responsible for designing, development and delivery of SAP BO reports and dashboards. This includes:

  • Consulting in regards to wide utilization of SAP business objects.
  • Independent development of BO reports in various domains.
  • Execution of collateral tasks (data preparation, SQL programming, deployment, etc.)

New Requirement! – Desktop Engineer / IT Support Engineer – Lancashire, Contract

Desktop Engineer / IT Support Engineer. My client based just outside Burnley, Lancashire are looking for an Desktop Engineer, 1st and 2nd Line IT Support Engineer for a 8-9 weeks contract to start urgently/immediately. Role involves:

  • Relocation and Installation to desk of PC hardware.

IT Support Engineer – 1st/2nd Line. Based in Widnes, Cheshire my client has a new requirement for for an IT Support Engineer – 1st/2nd Line. My client would consider a good 1st Line looking to make the move into an 1st/2nd line role. The role is split 50% hands on and 50% over the phone/remote IT support. You must have:

 

  • Active Directory Administration Skills
  • Strong MS operating systems and applications
  • Windows 7/10
  • MS Office 2010/365
  • Basic Networking skills
  • Strong Customer Service skills with excellent communication skills.
  • Full Driving license as travel to other sites is required occasionally.

New Requirement! – Software Test Engineer – Manual & Automation – Leicestershire, Perm

Software Test Engineer – Manual & Automation. My client based in Leicester, Leicestershire have a brand new role for Software Test Engineer. This role is split with Manual testing around 70% and Automation around 30% but Automation is an area my client would want the successful candidate to push on with. (They currently use eggplant Functional for Automation testing.) This will be the ideal position for someone who genuinely wants to be part of a growing and exciting company and you will need to show creativity, insight and a proactive approach to your work.

 

Must have the following:

  • Manual Testing
  • Automation Testing (Selenium, eggplant Functional, C# / JAVA)
  • Team Foundation Server 2013 onwards – Test plans, change set analysis etc.
  • High level testing experience
  • Agile/Scrum knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Practical Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

Prime duties will be working within a .NET environment, testing updates to in-house developed systems, including Websites (cross device/browser technologies), Mobile Devices, POS systems and warehouse systems.

Technically, we are looking for someone with lots of varied testing experience from a manual testing background, but most likely will have incorporated automation testing into their repertoire, perhaps using open source tools such as Selenium or eggplant Functional. You’ll ideally be able to use a language such as C# or JAVA to write the test scripts for your automation, and will have done other forms of testing such as non-functional, unit and regression testing.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Test case management within Team Foundation Server
  • Working closely with developers on functional, automated and performance testing
  • Creating support and release documents (technical and user)
  • Liaising with departments, providing assistance and support.
  • Suggest new testing practices or software
  • Periodic review of standards and procedures for technical accuracy and industry currency
