Based in London (nearest tube – St Paul’s or Blackfriars) my client are recruiting for SQL DBA (with core skills in SQL – tuning, patching, configs, restore, backups) and with some infrastructure skills in Windows Server, Application trouble shooting, SAN Storage, VMware, Oracle databases, Projects and Change Management. The role is roughly split between 60-70% of your time on SQL Server and the rest, infrastructure support when required. My client has a small team so you be expect to have a lot of interaction between network, storage, VMware and databases.

 

 

You must have:

• Experience in SQL Server 2008-2012 (moving towards SQL 2016/2017) administration of production systems including: development / change processes, version control, housekeeping, capacity planning and tuning, and data maintenance.
