1st Line Service Desk / Helpdesk. My client based in Watford are looking for 1st Line Service Desk / Helpdesk person for an initial 1 months contract with possible extensions. This contract will fall inside IR35 so ideally I am looking at contractors with an Umbrella company already set up.
Role includes:
- New users using MS Active Directory and relevant applications.
- 1st Line contact on all hardware and software support calls.
- Escalation of support calls and management of Helpdesk software.
- Configuration and Installation of desktop and laptop computers.
- Manage the off boarding of users using checklists.
- Provide support for user and office relocations.
- Daily / weekly backup software management.
- Printer management and basic troubleshooting.
You must have:
- Similar 1st line IT Support experience
- Excellent verbal and face-to-face communication.
- Windows desktop environment and applications (including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
- The ability to work on own initiative and be flexible.
- To be able to work efficiently and accurately.
