Test Lead / Test Manager. My award winning client based in Hemel Hempstead are looking for an hands on Test Lead / Test Manager with Agile software development methodology experience, ISEB, test experience on mobile phone and other platforms.

 

You must have:

  • 3-5 years experience working as an Test Manager or Test Lead.
  • Excellent analytical skills including advanced usage of Excel and Jira.
  • ISEB, Selenium, test experience on mobile phone and other platforms.
  • Experience of all aspects of the testing lifecyle including managing both functional and technical testing activities.
  • Experience of mentoring and training less experienced members of staff.
  • Understanding of common software failures and faults.
  • Experience of working in a fast paced development environment and of Agile development.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

 

Role involves:

  • Manage and lead the testing of all software used to deliver on platforms, mobile apps and websites.
  • Champion improvements in quality throughout the business with a specific emphasis on refining and improving regression testing and the use of automation.
  • Review software releases and schedule appropriate test resources in order to meet the differing timescales and priorities of development projects.
  • Report testing progress as necessary to the Head of Engineering.
  • Create, review and execute manual test plans and scripts where more appropriate than automation.
  • Manage any 3rd parties used for specialist testing activities covering areas such as security, usability, accessibility, performance and localisation
  • Plan the further use of Selenium to automate regression tests.
  • Create, review and execute automated test plans and scripts in line with the agreed test cycles.
  • Supervise the implementation and usage of the automated testing environments.
  • Work alongside your team to perform hands-on testing of trading platforms (Functional /GUI/Regression) to ensure developed software meets expectations and requirements.
  • Work with all other departments to resolve issues that arise during the testing of developed software.
  • Assess the skill levels of team members and work with them to improve as required
  • Continually look to build upon and improve all test processes and checkpoints used on site

Project Manager – Legal PMS Replacement Project. My client based in Basingstoke, Hampshire are looking for an infrastructure Engineer/Technical lead in which you will be covering everything from 1st to 3rd line support. You will be involved in the support the tactical delivery of the IT strategy of customer sites and support the growth of the company over the coming years. You must have:

 

  • Recent Microsoft MCSE, MCP or MCSA certification
  • Fully conversant with hypervisors (virtual machines / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) VMWare
  • Experienced in Active Directory excluding Group Policy
  • Ability to create and manage mailboxes (MS Exchange)
  • Understanding of LAN, WAN, WLAN networks
  • Understanding of DHCP, IP Addressing – a good understanding and experience with troubleshooting

Role involves:

You will be required to apply for Security Clearance to SC level after joining, if you do not already have such clearance. You must have experience in proving IT service for users across sites and in multiple countries via remote connections with the following below:

 

  • Strong Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange skills
  • Excellent Networking skills (DNS,DHCP,TCP/IP, Firewalls, switch management)
  • Working knowledge of Cloud computing environments

Role involves:

 

  • Take day to day ownership and responsibility for all IT services, including but not limited to the Server Infrastructure, Wide Area Networks, Local Area Networks, Voice (fixed and mobile) and internal IT service desk function for all sites worldwide.
  • Manage all aspects involved in the successful provision of IT services, including personnel, suppliers, and 3rd party service providers.
  • Complete the carve out of the IT services to include, but not limited to, Active Directory and Email migration and the deployment of new server infrastructure, networks and voice services as required by the business.
  • Establish metrics and KPI reporting so that the performance of the IT services can be reported to senior management on an ongoing basis.
  • Participate in projects that require input from IT either for a specific requirement or general technical guidance
  • Plan, budget and manage the IT expenditure for the company
  • Establish effective processes and standards for the user community to follow to ensure that company standards and security policies are adhered to.
  • Continuously keep up to date with advancements in Information Technology to ensure deriving the best value from its IT services and is utilising the right technologies to ensure it delivers an exemplary service to its end customers.
  • Recommend Technology changes to the business that can assist in revenue growth, cost avoidance or improved customer satisfaction.
  • Occasional travel to other sites worldwide will be required
  • Control of facilities and other equipment, e.g. Audio Visual, through the management of 3rd party suppliers and partners.
  • Management of the transitional and ongoing IT relationships.
